Training and Workforce Development Fund

VASS has been administering the Training and Workforce Development Fund, on behalf of the Ministry of Social Development. The fund has enabled staff members from MSD funded vocational services to apply for funding which will assist them to undertake training.

2009/2010 - Funded Training in Essential Skills for Effective Community Participation

Course Content:

An opportunity to explore the specific skills and approaches that have been identified locally and internationally as contributing to “good practice” and crucial to facilitating community participation.

This course further develops material presented in the “Principles of Community Participation” and “Facilitation Skills” courses.

Time: 9.30 - 3.30 (lunch provided)
